Job Description

ASEND is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support pupils at an independent specialist day school in Essex for 1-2 days a week. The school meets the needs of pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism/on the autism pathway. The school has a multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists and are actively recruiting for OTs to join the team. The role will involve one to one and group therapy, as well as providing training to school staff. The selected OT will also assess pupils and then write up a report with recommendations.

Requirements:

HCPC registration. Experience working in paediatrics and within the SEN sector as an OT. A passion for supporting children with disabilities and additional needs.
