Job Description

ASEND are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support a 9 year old pupil at her home in Harrow. She is non-verbal, has global developmental delay, profound and multiple learning difficulties as well a visual impairment. She requires 6 hours of OT per academic year, until the next review in October 2026. She enjoys listening to nursery rhymes, brights colours and music. interests include playing games, music and swimming. We are looking for an OT to start as soon as possible.

Requirements



Experience providing support to children with special educational needs. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
HCPC registration and an Occupational Therapy degree.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy Service to SEND pupils and support schools with assessments and general consultation.

This is a perfect role for someone who is really looking to make a difference and who can work innovatively with schools and families. There may also be opportunities to do some assessments and reports for first-tier tribunals and appeals.
