What you can add:

Work autonomously, managing a complex caseload and delivering holistic, person-centred assessments and interventions. Carry out home assessments, pre-discharge planning, environmental recommendations, and advise on equipment, adaptations, seating, splinting and manual handling. Maintain safe, high-quality practice through robust risk assessments, safeguarding responsibilities, consent procedures, Mental Capacity Act application and accurate, timely documentation. Contribute effectively within the MDT, participating in meetings, case conferences and triage, and coordinating care with wider services. Provide day-to-day leadership to OT and support staff, including supervision, line management, performance development and competency assessment. Contribute to service development, quality improvement while upholding high professional standards. Complete bed lever and bed rail risk assessments as required.
What you'll need:

Active HCPC registration with no restrictions to practise Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development Experience in supervision and proven leadership skills Previous experience in Community or with Adult Social Care Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
