Perform an Occupational Therapists role, with supervision, to provide a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to patients referred.
To be part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team, ensuring that Occupational Therapy input is an integral part of the patient's overall care and discharge.
To be an active member of the 7-day working rota, including weekends and bank holidays where it is implemented.
Finial year Occupational Therapy students or OT return to practice pending HCPC registration are also eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
The OT Team for each rotation consists of a variety of staff at Bands 7, 6, 5, 3, 2 and this post.
Post holder will provide specialised occupational therapy assessment, treatment and education to patients, as part of the MDT, according to the standards of practice or pathway within the particular rotation.
Patients seen present with a wide range of acute, complex and / or long-term needs and disabilities.
To develop skills and knowledge through participation in the rotational scheme
Post holder is professionally and legally accountable for his/her own action, and works with supervision.
