Occupational Therapist

- Private Mental Health Hospital - Full Time - 37.5 hrs p/w

Job Summary

We are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to join the team in this long-serving medium secure hospital based in a quiet but well-connected village near the historic city of York. It serves the local Provider Collaborative and multiple National Collaboratives, depending on clinical need, and has had a long-running record of successful patient pathways.

Duties

Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication. Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis. Maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation / progress. Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff. Maintains and develops close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards. available upon request

About You

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, along with full BAOT membership and current HCPC registration. Experience within the mental health sector is preferable
