Job Description

Open Arms Support Services Ltd are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA's) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and creative individuals who are able to work independently to support children with a range of SEN needs in their schools and their homes.

Responsibilities



Carry out planned treatment programme/intervention as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Carry a delegated caseload of clients under the supervision of the supervising Occupational Therapist Implement treatment plans and specific treatments under the supervision of the supervising Occupational Therapist Keep up to date clinical records of all treatment/intervention programmes for your caseload of clients Work with clients on a one-to-one and/or group basis.

Key Criteria



Full driving licence and have access to a vehicle with business insurance, as there is a requirement to travel as part of this role.

Desirable



Previous experience of working with children/young people with SEN Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes Verbal and written communication skills Competent IT Skills
