Job Description

Future Steps is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our innovative, multidisciplinary team. In this part-time role, you'll support the delivery of therapy programmes, virtual school visits, and ICT assessments helping to improve the lives of children, young people, and adults in our state-of-the-art clinic.

Hours and Days:

18.75 hours per week (2 days per week with the potential to increase working days / hours)

Tuesday - 07:30 am - 5:30 pm

Wednesday - 08:00 am - 5:45 pm

Salary:

24,937 per annum (pro-rata)

Key Responsibilities:

Support setup and maintenance of therapy spaces Assist with therapy sessions and group interventions Help deliver virtual school visits and therapy programmes Carry out ICT assessments in clinic and community settings Create therapy resources and manage equipment Greet and support clients, including those with complex needs Maintain accurate and confidential records

What We're Looking For:

Understanding of occupational therapy and child development Experience in schools, nurseries, or children's services is a plus Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills Confident and compassionate when working with clients of all ages
