Two of our Investment teams are looking for their new Off-Cycle Private Equity Analyst to support them during 6 months Internships. (Candidates who can extend their tenure will be looked upon favourably).


The following start dates are available: July 2025 & September 2025


This role would be well suited for a student or recent graduate who would like to broaden their experience in the Private Equity industry. The role is both broad and varied and you will support our Director & Associates whilst reporting to the Partner. We are looking for strong academics, excellent data analysis skills and it is very important the candidate is both confident and has an eye for detail.

The Role



As an intern, you will work closely with the investment professionals in one of our IK's UK deal teams and will assist with the appraisal of potential investment opportunities (both quantitative and qualitative) in the UK. The work of an intern is highly diverse, and candidates will gain investing and operational experience across a wide range of sectors.


Deal sourcing; sourcing exercises and updating pipeline information


Analyse potential investment opportunities


Carry out research and prepare background information


Business and operational analysis


Assist with internal presentation


Assist the team with portfolio reporting


Project related portfolio work


Financial modelling and valuation

Job requirements

Our Expectations




Relevant academic focus, e.g. finance/economics and engineering


Prior first work experience (ideally 6 months) through relevant internships in private equity/ venture capital, investment banking/ M&A advisory, strategic consulting or comparable internships.


Excellent academic track record


Financially literate and analytical mindset


High level of attention to detail
