Job Title: Off-hire Operative




Department: Operations




Location: Head Office (Stafford)




Position: Full Time




Hours: Rotating shift patterns between:



6:00am to 3:00pm (Monday to Thursday) & 6:00am to 2:00pm (Friday)

9:00am to 6:00pm (Monday to Thursday) & 10:00 am to 6:00pm (Friday)




Principle Purpose of Position:




The Off-Hire Operative is responsible to ensure our off hire returned products are assessed and processed in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive, and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:




Work on the assessment of returned off-hire products with consistent speed and accuracy Ensure that assessment requirements and standards are carried out in accordance with the assessment criteria. Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality Report any issues to management Work cooperatively with the team to meet quotas and goals Maintain a clean and safe work area. Clean our uPVC panel products and associated trims and doors as required. Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management. Follow all written and verbal instructions. Work in a safe manner at all times. Attend all safety and production trainings. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude. Able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.

Skills and Competencies:



Quality driven. Team player but also can work alone. Ability to work under pressure. Willing to go above and beyond to meet the companys needs. Accurate and excellent attention to detail Physically capable of manual labour that includes lifting, bending, and reaching. Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Able to work 8 hour shifts standing.



Experience:

Time served within Manufacturing/Production background.

Qualifications



Forklift licence- is an advantage but not necessary, as training will be given for the right candidate. Basic working understanding of English. Basic IT knowledge.
