We are seeking a hard working individual to work in our busy office in Yate, near Bristol.
Bristol Fire is a family run company who provide the installation and maintenance of fire safety systems and equipment, security systems as well as fire training, fire risk assessments, fire doors and PAT testing.
The position will be for an office administrator who will be involved with the office team in the day to day running of the office, answering phone calls, dealing with emails (Outlook), preparing quotations, ordering supplies, liaising with technicians and organising jobs including planning emergency call outs.
Ideally we are looking for someone with experience of this type of office work and use of Office 365 - Word / Outlook / Excel etc.
The position is full time - Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 05.00pm with 1 hour for lunch
Holiday allowance is 25 days (5 to be taken over the Christmas period) plus bank holidays
Please note: The role is primarily to cover maternity leave and we would be looking for the applicant to start soon (Feb/March 2026 latest). The position will be held for 12 months with the possibility of being kept on, either on a full time or part time basis after this time. We can discuss this at the interview stage should you need to.
