Millers UK are a family run business with over 32 years experience of providing top level service & products to support the laundry & catering industry. Our head office is located in Accrington with our engineer network covering the whole of the Northwest.

At Millers UK we are the first point of contact for our clients when it comes to all aspects of their laundry & catering needs. We offer everything from service & maintenance to sales and Installation.

As an administrator at Millers UK, you will be tasked with assisting the service team. We are seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to provide administrative support to our team and ensure efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, possess excellent communication skills and MUST be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of an Administrator



General Office Duties:

Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering calls, dealing with emails and general inhouse system management.

Scheduling:

Manage engineer calendars, schedule appointments, re allocating jobs, confirming & closing jobs.

Correspondence:

Draft, format, and proofread emails. Communicating daily with customers, engineers & suppliers

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of jobs, including client information, employee records, and financial data.

Communication:

Serve as a liaison between departments, clients, and external parties, ensuring effective communication.

Costings:

Providing customers & suppliers with part and job costs.

Problem Solving:

Address routine enquiries and resolve administrative & customer issues promptly and professionally.

Previous Experience of an Administrator



Desirable but not required

Qualifications of an Administrator



GCSE or Equivalent Efficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and accuracy. Prior administrative or office experience is preferred.

This is a full-time position based in an office environment. Occasional overtime and flexibility in working hours may be required in busy periods.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
