We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have experience working in office environments. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to various departments, and maintaining effective communication within the team.
Duties
Manage daily office operations and ensure a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure easy retrieval of information.
Handle incoming queries from customers and suppliers with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Process invoices and manage basic accounting tasks using Xero.
Managing grant forms, building control applications and processing guarantees.
Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth communication and workflow across departments.
Qualifications
Previous office experience is essential, with a strong preference for candidates with administrative experience.
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong typing skills with an emphasis on accuracy.
Demonstrated clerical experience that showcases attention to detail and reliability.
