We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks and providing excellent support to our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude to manage various office functions efficiently. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your administrative expertise within a professional environment.
The position is full time but we are flexible and can offer the successful candidate between 30-37.5 hours per week. Salary is based on experience.
Duties
Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
Maintain and update client orders using lab management software
Assist with filing, photocopying, scanning, and general clerical duties to support daily operations
Manage materials stock control and liaise with suppliers as required
Manage product delivery process and liaise with couriers
Ensure the office environment remains tidy, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Skills
Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Data entry accuracy
Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Demonstrated administrative experience with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good understanding of office procedures and clerical processes
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and software tools
