RocketGX is a growing provider of Building Management Systems (BMS), delivering intelligent control solutions for commercial and industrial environments. With a strong focus on customer service, technical excellence, and sustainable solutions, we're looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator to support our busy team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations at our UK office.
Role Overview:
As Office Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our office operations -- ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll support on finances, project teams, manage administrative processes, handle customer and supplier communication, and maintain essential records and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day administrative duties including filing, document management, post, and correspondence.
Act as first point of contact for clients, suppliers, and visitors.
Support project teams with documentation, and communication.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoicing.
Managing purchases of office supplies and support basic procurement for BMS related subscriptions, services, or products.
Liaise with external accountants (e.g. invoice tracking, expenses, VAT).
Assist with marketing and HR admin as required (e.g. onboarding documents, social media support).
Maintain a tidy and well-organised office environment.
Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and vendors.
Support team members with clerical tasks to enhance productivity.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative, financial or clerical role.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic CRM or project tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Experience in construction, engineering, or BMS sector desirable, but not essential.
