Office Administrator
to join our team and support our engineers and management team in the day-to-day running of the business.
Role Overview
This is a busy, hands-on position that requires excellent organisation and communication skills. You'll be at the centre of operations, helping to keep everything running smoothly -- from job bookings and scheduling to invoicing and client communication.
Main Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and web enquiries professionally and convert them into job bookings.
Manage workflow systems and coordinate engineers' schedules, ensuring clients are kept updated.
Prepare and follow up quotations to secure bookings.
Track warm leads and follow up to convert into confirmed work.
Create and send invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments where necessary.
Order materials, stationery, and uniforms; liaise with suppliers and process payments.
Assist with company accreditations and new client onboarding forms.
Support with Health & Safety admin tasks, including risk assessments and method statement reviews.
Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and engineer training records.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in
office administration
and
customer service
(essential).
Health & Safety or drainage industry knowledge (desirable, not essential).
Strong administration and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Confident using computers and
Google Suite
or similar software.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
