Purpose of the Role
As office Administrator, you will support the Talent Acquisition Lead with the full recruitment process, including sub-contractor and zero-hour roles. You will provide essential administrative support to the recruitment team, ensuring the hiring process runs smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with required standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Use a variety of sourcing channels -- job boards, social media, professional networks, job fairs, and referrals -- to attract high-quality candidates.
Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates through interviews, reference checks, and other evaluation methods.
Maintain excellent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Carry out initial telephone screening of applications.
Ensure correct right-to-work documentation is obtained and fully compliant
Manage incoming calls and respond to enquiries via the shared recruitment inbox.
Work towards and achieve recruitment KPI targets.
Support the wider recruitment and People team with administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Experience
Experience working in a recruitment team (in-house or agency), ideally within an education setting.
Experience of high-volume recruitment, particularly sub-contractor roles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Educated to at least GCSE level, including Maths and English.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
