The Role:



This role is suitable for someone who enjoys variety within their role and who has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. You will support both the accounts and sales teams, assisting with financial reconciliation, managing payments, coordinating insurance quotations, and liaising with insurers to ensure deadlines are met. The role requires clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay Structure:



26,000- comprising a basic salary of 25,000, an annual bonus of 1,000.

Duties



Assist the accounts team in reconciling insurer statements and matching payments. Process client refunds and oversee all outgoing payments accurately and promptly. Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, through effective written and verbal communication, and customer service. Communicate with insurers to obtain quotations and ensure all required information is accurate. Work closely with team members to prioritise client cases and meet agreed deadlines. Maintain clear, accurate records of all financial transactions and correspondence. Support the wider team with administrative and operational tasks as required. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product knowledge to provide accurate information to clients.

Requirements



Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or accounts role (insurance industry experience desirable but not essential). Strong numerical and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. We are not a client facing office, so being a confident communicator with professional telephone and written communication skills is essential. Ability to manage workload effectively in a busy environment and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and comfortable learning new systems. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and adaptable team player with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
