An exciting opportunity to join SRE - the UK's most established and multi award-winning sustainability consultancy, and work with a team of dedicated, values-driven professionals at the forefront of the fight against climate change.

SRE has been providing pragmatic and solution-focused sustainability advice to key players in the built environment for over 20 years.

We are looking for an Office Administrator to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the business whilst working in a supportive and growing team. The role is maternity cover, and has the opportunity to become a sustainability consultant role after October 2026.

The Role



The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Reception - answer the phone, welcome clients and visitors, receive and distribute post Customer Relationship Management - update regularly for accurate reporting and marketing campaigns Day to day running of the office (tidy kitchen, water plants, ensure printer has paper etc.) Marketing - LinkedIn and other social media posts, Newsletters and liaise with PR Agency Events - arrange catering, accommodation, transportation etc. for events and conferences Hospitality - organise company functions such as lunches, training, client events Onboarding - assist in new starter preparation Purchasing - ensure adequate provision of stationary and office supplies Admin - support the BM team with administrative tasks as required.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience



Candidates will be expected to:

Have a degree 2:1 or above Be a collaborative team player who strives for excellence in everything they do Be confident working in a growth-mindset and fast-paced environment Have strong IT skills, including the use of MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word.
The job will be full-time and will be based in Guildford, Surrey, 30 mins from London. Salary will be dependent on experience and ability.
