Job Description

The Flooring Co (UK) Ltd is a well-established flooring supplier and contractor with over 30 years of experience within the commercial sector.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Office Administrator to join our dynamic professional team and help to support the year on year growth. In this role, you'll support the Operations Manager, Contracts Manager and Estimating Team confidently handling a significant administrative workload. We're seeking someone who can ask the right questions, manage competing priorities, and make a real impact in a growing business!

Responsibilities

Answering incoming calls and emails, directing queries to the roght person Scheduling meetings, site visits, and diary management Maintaining the Company's Quality Management System Provide diary management, scheduling and ordering assistance when needed Organising meetings and managing databases Vehicle Management Procuring subcontractors and placing orders for materials Liaising with project managers, fitters, and subcontractors Organise the office layout, maintain supplies of stationery and equipment General office duties Manage industry accreditations Preparing operation & maintenance manuals Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Assist in the completion of Customer Pre-Qualifying Questionnaires.
Required Skills

The ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure Strong IT and typing skills Excellent customer care skills Positive attitude Must have previous experience within the construction industry Excellent verbal communication skills. Highly proficient with MS Word and Excel software packages. Excellent negotiation and teamwork skills and the proven ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Outstanding administration skills. Attention to detail To be methodical and process-oriented, with strong attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 27,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
