We're now seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our small, tight-knit team in Loughborough to help drive bookings and keep things running smoothly.
The Role
This isn't your typical customer service job.
Your main goal is to convert inbound enquiries into booked jobs -- whether that's a bereavement clearance, garage roof asbestos removal, or a full house clearance prior to sale.
You'll be the first point of contact for customers reaching out via:
Phone
Email
WhatsApp
Text message
You'll guide them through our process, answer questions, and--most importantly--secure the booking.
You'll also handle administrative tasks, such as:
Logging enquiries
Updating booking forms
Requesting customer information
Managing calendars and schedules
Sending payment details and deposit confirmations
What You'll Need
Confident communicator who's comfortable speaking with a wide range of customers -- some emotional (bereavement), some blunt (construction), some confused
Driven by results -- this role is about converting leads into bookings, not just answering calls
Tech-literate -- you'll use Apple Mac systems daily and leverage ChatGPT to assist with replies and quotes
Excellent written English -- spelling, tone, and speed matter when handling enquiries across multiple channels
Adaptable -- you'll switch between customers, job types, and admin quickly without dropping the ball
Comfortable in a small office environment -- just a few of us here, no corporate hierarchy or endless red tape
Commission
After your 12-week trial period, you'll be eligible for commission based on converted bookings -- earnings potential increases significantly for proactive team members who consistently get results.
