The Role:
We have an opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our team.
Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for:
Providing administrative support to the directors, surveyors, and wider team
Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Maintaining accurate records of projects, logging enquires and managing initial project administration.
Raising purchase orders, invoices, and track job costs where required
Coordinating team schedules, meetings, and office logistics
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company procedures
Welcoming visitors and act as the first point of contact for clients
Conducting desktop utility searches to support survey planning
Arranging travel and accommodation (flights, ferries, trains, hotels) for surveyors working away
Managing company expense and reconcile monthly statements
Completing new supplier onboarding forms and maintain electronic/online portals
Coordinating training for surveyors as required
Scheduling and overseeing general office maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical, roofing)
About you
Do you:
Have previous experience in an administrative or office coordinator role?
Have excellent communication and organisational skills?
Have strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)?
Have experience in construction, engineering, or surveying environments? desirable but not essential
