Since 1968, Stuart Line Cruises has been listed as one of the top family attractions in Devon and is widely recognised as the best tourist attraction in Exmouth. With boats trips sailing the coast around Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay and Sidmouth, we give hundreds of thousands of happy passengers the chance to see the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, cruise the beautiful River Exe or visit a picture-postcard South Devon town.
Stuart Line Cruises has remained a family business with two boats operating year-round in our distinctive bright colours. We are a daily fixture on the water and have literally become part of the stunning scenery that we are blessed with.
We are an all weather, family-friendly, dog-friendly, value for money experience with boat trips accessible for wheelchair users. Bookings can be made for large groups, small groups and all those in between! The Company has grown and evolved so much over the years and we now not only offers pleasure cruises and family fun days out, but also live band nights and party cruises, making us known as one of the most popular event venues in Devon.
The successful candidate will be on a temporary contract to assist during our peak period either part time or full time hours to suit with an end date to be discussed, though this may turn into a longer term contract for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone to join our land-based team as an office administrator and to assist in some basic marketing tasks. The role will be including a number of bank holidays, weekends and some longer days. The successful candidate will be required to work at both weekend days. Flexibility on working hours is essential in order to meet the demands of the business. Our office is based at Exmouth Marina and on the seafront, both locations will be manned. There is no option for working from home or hybrid working due to the customer-facing nature of the role. The role will involve the daily running of our busy Booking Office - handling enquiries over the telephone, in person and via emails, processing online bookings, taking telephone and face-to-face bookings, ordering from suppliers, assisting on board the boats on occasion (if required) and assisting our Marketing Manager as required. Full training will be provided.
Someone with great organisational skills and great customer service is key.
