We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and organisation within our office environment. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and hygienic workspace for all employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
General Cleaning: Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitise restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure they are in hygienic condition.
Surface Cleaning: Wipe down and sanitise surfaces, including desks, tables, counters, and light fixtures.
Waste Management: Empty bins, properly dispose of waste, and replace liners.
Window Cleaning: Clean interior windows and glass surfaces.
Specialised Cleaning: Carry out deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and polishing as needed.
Equipment Care: Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
Inventory Management: Monitor and report the need for additional cleaning supplies.
Compliance: Follow safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment.
Customer Service: Respond to client or tenant requests and report any issues or damages noticed during cleaning
Communal Areas Maintenance: Ensuring that tea, milk and sugar are refilled in all canteens and breakout areas.
Ad-hoc duties: ironing of workwear ready for customer meetings.
Awareness of company's ISO 19001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations, objectives, and requirements.
Attend annual company training and refresher courses.
To undertake travel to and from the company residence to perform cleaning duties as part of the role.
Any additional task or duties requested by management.
Requirements
Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Previous experience in a cleaning role is mandatory.
Ability to drive may be advantageous for roles requiring travel between multiple sites.
