Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Suffolk. This office-based role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with various agencies to safeguard vulnerable children and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to child welfare and the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism and empathy.
Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments and investigations in line with safeguarding protocols.
Collaborating with partner agencies, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns.
Maintaining accurate and timely records of all interactions and interventions.
Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
Participating in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and best practices.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Registration with Social Work England.
Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
Excellent analytical skills to assess risk and make informed decisions.
