.We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic
Canteen Manager
to oversee the daily running of our busy office canteens over two sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming dining environment, takes pride in delivering high-quality food and service, and can manage operations efficiently.
Competitive salary
37.5 Hours:
Monday - Friday
7am - 3pm
30 minutes unpaid lunch
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations in both canteens, ensuring smooth service.
Plan and prepare balanced, varied, and cost-effective menus.
Monitor food quality, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
Supervise, train, and support canteen staff.
Manage stock levels, supplier orders, and budgets effectively.
Handle cashless/cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
Ensure the canteen is a clean, friendly, and efficient space for colleagues.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or canteen management.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Knowledge of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Ability to manage budgets, stock, and suppliers.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
