Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our small, dedicated team of cleaners in the Romford area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for all. This role requires effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Cleaner will play a vital role in upholding our standards of cleanliness and safety.

Duties

Carry out cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces and clinics. Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly. Maintain an organised stock of cleaning materials and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential. A good command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles that may require travel between multiple sites. Strong customer service skills are essential, with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
