Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Office Cleaner for a client whose offices are based just outside Stamford/Ketton. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting, contributing to a welcoming and safe workspace for all staff and visitors.

Duties

Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of office areas and communal spaces Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and break areas to ensure hygiene standards are met Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when stock levels are low Ensure all surfaces are disinfected regularly to prevent the spread of germs Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly Good organisational skills to manage daily cleaning schedules effectively Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent time management skills

Hours

The client has asked that the clean take place out of office hours and we have suggested 830am on Saturday mornings although this could be undertaken at anytime over the weekend. The shift is 2 hours. Full training will be given and a cleaning kit provided. Own transport is essential

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
