Overview



We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Office Manager to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the business. While experience within the construction industry would be advantageous, it is not essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong administrative and interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, basic accounting knowledge, and a proactive, adaptable approach to work. This is a key role requiring the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

A company-provided electric luxury vehicle is included with personal use permitted. Opportunities for further qualifications and career progression will be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor employee performance to maximise efficiency and productivity. Manage general administrative functions, including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping. Oversee human resources activities, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records. Use Xero for financial record keeping, invoicing, and payroll processing. Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with employees and clients, responding to enquiries and resolving issues as required. Provide clerical support as needed, including filing, data entry, and document preparation. Manage office supplies and ensure equipment is properly maintained. Report directly to and support the Managing Director.
Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative or office management role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Excellent telephone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with human resources processes is desirable. Basic accounting knowledge; proficiency in Xero is preferred. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and discretion. Competence in standard office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).
