The Role: Office Support Administrator

The Office Support Administrator will be based in the Huddersfield Head Office providing administrative and operational support to various areas of Sandringham Financial Partners (now part of M&G Wealth). Sandringham is one of the UK\xe2\x80\x99s fastest-growing and market-leading providers of tailored independent financial advice. Recently acquired by M&G plc, everything we do is designed to deliver the best outcomes for our Advising Partners and their personal or corporate clients.

You will gain great exposure working with all areas of Sandringham however will work closely with the Onboarding team who are highly communicative and work at a fast pace. This team are responsible for applications, agencies, exits and transfers within the onboarding process for advisers. Due to working closely with the Onboarding team, this role offers great insight and potential progression into this area. The ideal candidate for the Office Support Administrator will be enthusiastic and highly professional. You will need to be an excellent communicator and able to adapt and think on your feet.

Standard office hours are 9am until 5pm (35 hours) with up a 1 hour lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receptionist duties including handling and transferring incoming calls and taking and distributing messages.
  • Processing daily post including scanning and logging relevant items and forwarding any items to the relevant adviser.
  • Providing administrative support for several key internal business processes.
  • Monitoring stationery supply levels and ordering both stationery and printing supplies when necessary.
  • Dealing with admin related queries logged on our helpdesk software Zendesk.
  • Monitoring the main centralised email account to ensure external queries are handled in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Greeting guests and providing them with refreshments.
  • Liaising with Conference Care to organise monthly induction courses, including booking venues, hotels & food and cascading information & invitations out to the correct people.
  • Setting meeting rooms up.
  • Logging and banking cheques from clients
  • Processing invoices.
  • Updating internal records for advisers.
  • Updating systems for new advisers & advisers who have left.
  • Providing admin support to the Operations team.
  • Keeping internal spreadsheets up to date and cascading when relevant.
  • Other ad hoc duties that arise on a week by week basis.
Key skills and experience:
  • Experience in administration and a busy office environment (preferable but not essential).
  • Able to work in a team and alone to meet deadlines and achieve set goals.
  • Confident in using your own initiative as well as work from the instruction of others.
  • The ability to be flexible in responding to the needs of the business.
  • Proficient in IT.
