The Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised
Office Trainee
to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain real-world experience in a construction business office.
You'll be trained and supported in all areas of office administration, operations support, project coordination, and compliance processes -- with the goal of progressing over time into a more senior role within the business.
No prior experience in construction is required, but a good attitude, strong ICT skills, and a logical, can-do mindset are essential.
What You'll Learn and Do
Office Administration
Day-to-day running of the office (supplies, filing, phones, refreshments)
Managing training records and staff certifications
Supporting new project setup and document control
Organising meeting packs and printing project files
Greeting visitors and handling enquiries
Managing shared inboxes and supporting communication across departments
Operations & Compliance Support
Assisting with plant hire, material orders, and agency labour bookings
Helping track supplier and subcontractor documentation (e.g. insurance certificates)
Supporting O&M manual collation and project handover packs
Logging defects, callouts, and ongoing maintenance issues
Updating internal project trackers and master programmes
Supporting framework compliance and reporting
Assisting with the upkeep of H&S documentation and RAMS filing
You'll work closely with the Business Manager and other team members who will guide and mentor you as you grow into the role.
What We're Looking For
