Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organised Accounts/Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing & maintaining office systems and ensuring statutory returns are completed on time. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities



Maintain accurate sales/purchase/ nominal ledgers using accounting software

Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.

Payroll processing/Pension & PAYE returns and recording of journals on accounting software.

Keep accurate stock records of vehicles and record monthly stock valuation in accounting software.

Complete all Intrastat/EC Sales/VAT/ NOVA/Trader Support/Business Surveys in a timely manner and ensure all paperwork is filed correctly and is easily accessible.

Organise financing options for customers if required.

Audit ledgers in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with external accountant to complete year end journals in a timely manner.

Respond to enquiries, send our parcels, organise paperwork for machinery shows and provide excellent customer service.

Updating of social media accounts & website.

Introduce new systems to maximise all business opportunities and any other duties as required by Director.

Requirements



Proven 5 yrs + experience as an Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper or in a similar role, with the ability of implementing new accounts systems.

Proficiency in accounting software (Cloud or Desktop) is essential, Sage/Xero, must be able to adapt quickly and be self-reliant.

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, with a relevant qualification, but not mandatory

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience of business social media, wix website, human resources, HASAW, would be beneficial, but not essential.

We are looking for a dynamic strong individual, who can take the lead in organising, establishing and maintaining accurate accounts. Must be able to work on own initiative and implement new office systems to organise a busy Agri Machinery Business.

Job Type: Part-time (Flexible) around 10-15hrs per week (may suit self employed person)

Pay: 14-18 per hr (dependent on experience)
