About the role



EPS are looking for an Office / Finance Manager to be based from their Stockton on Tees office.

Suitable candidates must have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, self-motivated, organised and reliable. The candidate should be a good working knowledge of Sage 50, be fully computer literate with good experience in Word, Excel & Outlook as a minimum. Experience in an Engineering company, or a business operating multiple large projects would be preferable. Experience in project costing would also be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities



This is a key role in an established engineering consultancy business. The main activities include but are not limited to:

General bookkeeping duties for two companies, including bank reconciliations, purchase and sales ledger management, payment processing, preparing month-end management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments. Updating cash flow forecasts to ensure accurate visibility of company liquidity and upcoming financial commitments. Create monthly costing reports for projects, handing applications for payments and project variations. General Accounting Admin tasks. Complete vendor forms, check and process Engineers expenses, creating and emailing quotations, delivery notes, sales invoices, sending statements to customers. Maintaining accurate project cost reports, liaising with the Projects team and reporting key financial information to the management team. Serve as primary contact for internal queries and external visitors, screening calls and correspondence. Oversee day-to-day office operations, order office supplies and manage relationships with suppliers. Take part in and assist in the preparation of annual ISO audits. Help maintain records for ISO purposes. Arrange and book travel, accommodation, team events and training courses etc. Liaise with company accountants, suppliers, customers, IT support and internet provider as required.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
