Children's Ofsted Registered Manager
to join our dedicated team.
Role Overview:
As the
Children's Ofsted Registered Manager
, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of our children's services, ensuring that the home is run in accordance with Ofsted regulations and our high standards of care. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, supporting and guiding them to deliver the best possible outcomes for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the children's home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including Ofsted guidelines.
Lead and manage a team of staff, ensuring they receive ongoing support, training, and supervision.
Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people.
Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of children and young people in line with their emotional, social, and educational needs.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, ensuring that continuous improvement is made.
Conduct regular staff appraisals and ensure team development.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with Ofsted standards.
Lead on inspections, liaising with regulatory bodies, and ensuring that the home consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
Key Requirements:
Ofsted Registered Manager
status (or willing to register).
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role within children's services.
In-depth knowledge of the
Children's Homes Regulations 2015
and
Quality Standards
.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience of managing budgets and resources effectively.
A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and external professionals.
Enhanced DBS check (provided by us).
