Job Description


  • Be part of a highly skilled team and contribute to the O&M scope during project development, construction and handover to operations.
  • Provide input to the project organisation, support developing the O&M strategies and manage interfaces effectively in all project phases.
  • Support the project and product development with thorough reviews on the design while ensuring integration of O&M principles and high quality engineering.
  • Be actively involved in project and engineering decisions, participate at inspections, coordinate maintenance engineering activities and deliver the asset to the operations at optimal operability and functionality.
  • Give technical and operational inputs to the O&M CAPEX, OPEX, production availability numbers, support update of assumptions to the project business cases and deliver the O&M documentation to the project organisation.
  • Maintain and update the O&M requirements at the operational contracts and contribute to negotiation with external suppliers.
  • Facilitate development of project or region-specific operational processes and procedures in accordance with the Equinor management system.
  • Identify operations related value improvements, support new product development and drive continuous operational optimisation on a portfolio level.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or a Commercial based subject along with relevant experience from the energy/power generation/utility business, ideally in O&M Offshore wind.
  • Experience in operational projects and teams, including managing internal and external project interfaces within power generation / utilities.
  • Experience in negotiation of operational contracts, contractor site activities, negotiation with suppliers and solid engineering understanding of the wind industry matters.
  • Knowledge of developing O&M concepts at early project phase including logistics and O&M base, carrying out inspections (FAT/SAT) onshore/offshore and steer the project handover to operations.
  • Structured and proactive with forward-thinking philosophy and commitment to delivery.
  • A focused approach to health, safety and environment, acting with integrity and high ethical standards in all aspects.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Curious with the ability to build open, collaborative, and trusting relationships and comfortable working in a highly matrixed, global organisation.
