We are seeking a reliable and proactive
On-Call Transport Manager
to manage night-time operations and support our drivers by phone. You will be the primary point of contact throughout the night--coordinating jobs, handling issues, communicating with clients, and ensuring all operations run smoothly.This is a phone-based remote role suited for someone calm under pressure with strong communication and organisational skills.

14:00 - 02:00Key Responsibilities
Manage all incoming driver calls during your shift Provide job instructions, updates, and operational support
Coordinate directly with client supervisors regarding job details, delays, and requirements
Liaise with the Company Director and Compliance Manager when escalation or approval is needed
Log all call updates and incidents clearly and accurately Ensure drivers follow company safety and compliance procedures Monitor ongoing jobs and ensure timely completion Maintain smooth communication between day and night operationsRequirements
Experience in transport, logistics, dispatch, or similar roles (preferably Tankering) Strong communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently during night hours Highly organised and reliable Professional phone manner Must be fully available during shift hours
