You will respond to enquiries, follow up on leads, and provide product demonstrations while ensuring key data is added to our CRM. You will be responsible for ensuring new clients are comfortable with the process for them and their candidates. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in shaping the client experience and supporting the sales pipeline. Your in-depth knowledge of background screening processes will allow you to confidently guide clients through their options and ensure a smooth, compliant onboarding journey.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate and convert new business leads
Act as the first point of contact for all incoming sales enquiries
Arrange and deliver platform demonstrations for prospective clients
Capture and input accurate client information and lead details into the CRM system
Follow up on leads promptly to nurture interest and move opportunities through the pipeline
Maintain and demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of background screening processes, services, and compliance frameworks (e.g., BS7858, BPSS)
Ensure all new accounts are set up correctly and handed over to the Account Management Team
Provide guidance and reassurance to clients on compliance requirements and industry standards
Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding journey and share client feedback with the team
Stay informed of competitor offerings and market trends to confidently position Secure Screening Services
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a sales support, onboarding, or client-facing role
Exceptional customer service and the ability to build relationships easily
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in delivering demonstrations and client presentations
Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage leads and client data
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities simultaneously
High attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive or regulated client information
Commercial awareness and ability to spot opportunities for new business growth
Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent client experiences
