Onboarding Project Manager
. This is a hands-on, client-facing position designed to support our continued growth and ensure every new customer journey begins with confidence, clarity, and care.
You'll lead the onboarding of new clients and sites--whether through full ESCO contracts or metering and billing-only arrangements. You'll coordinate technical setup, stakeholder engagement, and operational readiness, while managing our onboarding administration team to ensure customers and properties are accurately set up in our CRM and billing systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Client Onboarding & Project Coordination
Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and sites
Develop tailored onboarding plans for ESCO and metering-only contracts
Coordinate technical, commercial, and operational setup activities
Ensure timely installation and commissioning of metering infrastructure
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors
Facilitate kick-off meetings and regular check-ins
Keep all stakeholders aligned and informed throughout the onboarding lifecycle
Team & System Oversight
Manage the onboarding administration team
Oversee accurate setup of customers and properties in CRM and billing systems
Ensure data integrity and readiness for billing and customer communications
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain onboarding documentation and site records
Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations
Continuous Improvement
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
Contribute to onboarding playbooks and best practices
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience in project management, client onboarding, or operations
Experience managing and successfully leading teams
Proficiency in project management tools and CRM systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills
Desirable
Experience in energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
Understanding of ESCO models, metering systems, and billing processes
PMP, Prince2, or similar certification
