Role Overview

We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist to join our Customer Success team, supporting the smooth implementation and training of clients using our Edupay and BPS software. This role is pivotal in ensuring new customers are effectively set up, onboarded, and trained, enabling them to manage their payroll, HR, and budget planning efficiently. You will combine strong data handling and process management skills with excellent communication and client-facing abilities to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all SLAs are met, including set-up procedures, parallel runs, and onboarding administration for new client implementations. Deliver high-quality client system set-ups using Edupay and BPS, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Complete accurate parallel payroll runs, proactively identifying and resolving issues before go-live. Manage large volumes of sensitive data with precision and confidentiality using Microsoft Excel. Lead client implementation calls, gathering requirements, explaining processes, setting expectations on timeframes and data submissions, and delivering introductory training. Provide comprehensive product training at go-live, ensuring clients can confidently use Edupay and BPS. Work collaboratively with colleagues to follow up with clients on outstanding data, resetting expectations when delays occur. Review customer complaints constructively and work with the wider team to enhance the onboarding experience. Consistently achieve objectives and KPIs relating to personal productivity, customer satisfaction, and team delivery. Demonstrate passion and engagement with Tes products, translating this enthusiasm into positive client interactions.

What you'll need to succeed

Analytical - Accuracy, Data Handling, Problem Solving

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, managing large volumes of data securely and professionally. Ability to complete accurate parallel runs and identify/correct issues proactively. Problem-solving mindset to resolve onboarding errors, manage complaints, and troubleshoot client queries.

Process Oriented - Structured Delivery, Reliability, SLA Management

Track record of meeting SLAs for client implementations. Experience delivering accurate set-ups and administration using HR, Payroll, or financial software. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and reliability, with the ability to work independently.

Collaborative - Customer Interaction, Teamwork, Communication

Confident delivering implementation calls and system training sessions with clients. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, across diverse stakeholders. Team player, working closely with colleagues to resolve client delays or challenges. Constructive approach to customer complaints, ensuring improvements to process and experience.
