Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing One to One Nursery Practitioner to provide personalised care and support to children in our nursery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that fosters their development. This role is essential in ensuring that each child receives individual attention tailored to their unique needs.

Duties

Provide one-on-one support to assigned children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. Develop and implement individualised care plans that cater to the specific needs of each child. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and sharing insights with the nursery team. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other practitioners to share best practices and enhance the overall nursery experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children is essential; familiarity with early years education is highly desirable. A relevant qualification in childcare or early years education is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development in a supportive environment. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards challenges encountered in childcare settings.

Job Type: Part-time
