We are seeking a dedicated and efficient worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clear communication skills and be comfortable with various tasks including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving goods for our two online businesses; Blomster Designs Scandinavian Homeware and Hit the Trail. This role requires interaction with customers both online, on the telephone and on occasions face to face. The successful applicant will need to gain good stock and product knowledge as they will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our small family business.
Responsibilities
Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to meet customer requirements for two online businesses.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all goods are accounted for and properly documented.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Answer the telephone and deal with customer enquiries.
Face to face customer interaction in small showroom and when collecting orders.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, with a focus on shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Ability to lift heavy items regularly as part of daily responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed.
