We are looking for a qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Sociology to deliver personalised education to pupils with SEND. All children accessing our provision present with additional needs, meaning lessons must be differentiated, engaging and delivered at a pace and level that supports confidence, retrieval and progress.
Requirements:
MUST hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Recent classroom or tuition experience
Strong understanding of SEND needs
Ability to adapt teaching styles and resources
Confident online delivery (Teams/Zoom)
Role Involves:
Planning and delivering 5 hours per week of 1:1 sociology tuition
Breaking down key A-level concepts
Tracking and reporting progress weekly
Working with safeguarding in mind at all times

Safeguarding is paramount within our organisation. All tutors must comply with safer recruitment and safeguarding obligations. Tutors must hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS, complete safeguarding training and follow clear reporting procedures.
Lessons must take place in safe online environments with appropriate conduct, boundaries and communication. We expect immediate reporting of concerns, professional confidentiality and a clear understanding of child protection responsibilities.
