Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Spanish teacher to join our online teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Spanish to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE students and be well-versed in the curriculum requirements. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate will conduct lessons through virtual platforms.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons for Key Stage 3 and GCSE students.

Design and implement a curriculum that aligns with national standards and examination board requirements.

Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the online teaching program.

Keep accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any other relevant information.

Stay informed about educational trends, teaching methodologies, and examination board updates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field.

Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Proven experience teaching Spanish to KS3 and GCSE students.

Strong knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE French curriculum and examination requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable using online teaching platforms and technology.

Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.

Passionate about language education and student success.
