Job Description

An enthusiastic and experienced teacher of Sport Science is required immediately at Access Courses Online to teach home-based students. From September, the successful candidate will be teaching our exciting new Sport Science access course. Over the summer, they will be building resources for the initial units. The successful candidate must have experience of teaching Sport Science at A level or Access level.

From September, the role will involve teaching for a couple of hours a week, but teaching hours will grow as pupil numbers rise. Good specialist knowledge of Access / A level Sport Science is required, and a degree is preferred.

We pride ourselves in having teachers who are the top of their field, so would like to invite applications from teachers with a great deal of teaching experience plus further academic qualifications or relevant experience.

The initial contract is for one year, but will be extended to permanent for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be required to support students for a number of part-time hours during the normal school day. The timetable is flexible and you can choose your working hours, within reason. Required hours depend on pupil numbers and your involvement in extra work to build resources.

The candidate must be organised, have a quiet place to teach and must enjoy working from home.

Pay: 30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
