Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
Develop or acquire stimulating teaching and learning resources for the assigned subject areas.
Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal methods, providing constructive feedback.
Create a supportive virtual school and classroom atmosphere that encourages students' participation and fosters a love of learning.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behaviour, and academic progress.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's or equivalent or higher degree in a related field is required; additional certifications, experience and studies will be preferred.
School/college/university experience is highly valued, demonstrating an understanding of academic expectations and student needs.
Strong communication skills in English and other languages, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
