Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate online tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to educate and inspire students, helping them achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to provide tailored support that enhances their learning experience.

The Tutor will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment while effectively communicating with students and their families. Access to a laptop or desktop computer with stable internet connection during tuition session

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects as needed. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop personalised learning plans. Communicate effectively with students to foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Educate students using diverse teaching methods tailored to individual learning styles. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development, particularly for those with special educational needs. Maintain a safe and organised tutoring environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications

Age 17 or Over Grade A in Highers/Advance Highers or Grade 6 in Maths and English Language 9(GCSE) Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of various ages. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and families. Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable. Ability to educate using innovative methods that cater to different learning styles. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed academically.
