Sherpa Online is an EdTech company dedicated to making high-quality online tuition accessible to everyone across the UK, while fostering a strong sense of community among our tutors.

As the new academic year is almost upon us, we are currently experiencing an unprecedented demand for 1:1 private tuition across GCSE's and A-Levels and are expanding our network of qualified tutors. We are seeking qualified UK teachers and experienced tutors to support students in improving their grades and confidence, specifically within GCSE's and A-Level's. We will consider all subjects, but demand for Economics, Maths, English, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Business Studies, Politics, Geography, History, Computing and Languages are especially in demand.

Responsibilities:

Develop tailored lesson plans based on the student's needs, learning pace, and curriculum requirements Tutor in subject-specific material clearly and engagingly, ensuring the student understands key concepts and skills. Provide regular assessments to track progress, offer constructive feedback and address any gaps in knowledge. Help the student prepare for exams by reviewing past papers, practicing problem-solving, and teaching exam strategies. Foster a positive, supportive learning environment, helping the student stay motivated and confident. Keep parents informed of the student's progress and areas for improvement, offering guidance on how they can support learning at home.
