Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our Client. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques, primarily TIG welding. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in sheet metal work to contribute to high-quality production processes. The position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.

Responsibilities



Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials, including sheet metal and structural components, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal parts. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately. Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure proper fit and alignment of components. Assist in the fabrication of custom parts and modifications as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times. Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Experience



Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly welding techniques. Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and mechanical assembly. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential. Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience working with various materials such as steel, aluminium, or other metals is desirable. Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints is preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 16.24-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
