MAIN PURPOSE
To provide On Site Support assistance with IT to the RMDKwikform end users in the U.K. The main site is based in Aldridge, West Midlands with 7 other sites across the UK. There is ocassional travel to the other sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide support to RMDK Offices via remote and onsite support.
To take part in proactive Site Visits to improve local infrastructure.
To configure, install and maintain all forms of hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, switches, routers and firewalls.
To take part in small scale Network cabling tasks within sites / offices.
To maintain a high degree of customer service for and adhere to all service management principles.
Testing and repair of hardware including, desktops and laptops.
Maintain IT store area ensuring hardware is stored and organised and in a tidy manner.
Responsible for deliveries in and out of the department ensuring they are handled in line with department / safety procedures.
Assist with PC imaging for new laptops and older reusable kit.
Disposal of hardware and equipment in line with regulations and recycling policy.
Adhere to Health and Safety procedures within the working environment.
To provide 1st line/2nd line desktop and network support to users and systems via telephone, email and remote diagnostic tools.
To provide 1st line/2nd line application support and troubleshooting including LAN / WAN and wireless.
To provide 1st line/2nd line peripheral and communication support including printers, scanners, phone systems and mobile devices.
To take ownership of incidents, be proactive when dealing with user issues / requests and escalate to other internal teams where necessary.
To maintain a high degree of customer service in all communication and adhere to all Service Management principles.
Maintain Service management tool, logging of all incidents, service requests and changes within the system and ensuring they are kept up to date.
Microsoft Active Directory Administration, user account creation, disabling of leavers, granting security group access.
Process user management tasks and maintain accurate records in a range of administrative tools.
Responsible for making sure all assets are accounted for and records are kept up to date.
