Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organised Onsite Manager to lead our heavy&bulky delivery operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional service quality, and team performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Location: Luton and Milton Keynes

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm

Salary: 150/day

Key responsibilities

Manage daily delivery operations, including route readiness, loading, and dispatch efficiency Ensure all deliveries and installations meet required standards of quality and safety Support and monitor drivers throughout their shifts to resolve live operations issues. Maintain open, effective communication with drivers and crew members Provide coaching, leadership, and performance feedback to the team. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any service or delivery issues promptly Take ownership of resolving complaints or failed deliveries Maintain accurate records for uniforms, equipment, and vehicle conditions Overseel payroll completion, ensuring all shifts and route data is accurate and aligned across internal platforms Identify and escalate recurring operational challenges Serve as the main link between the site and company departments Promote company culture and uphold professional standard at all times Skills and Experience Proven leadership and communication skills Strong understanding of logistics and delivery operations Excellent attention to detail Confident using digital platforms ( MS Office, tracking systems, internal apps) Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks CPC qualification preferred but not essential
