About the Role:

Due to growing demand, Jon William Stables is looking for a reliable and motivated

On-Site Team Leader or Trainee Team Leader

to join our team. This is a

hands-on role

, not office-based, where you will work

alongside a small team constructing timber buildings on sites throughout the UK

. You will also support workshop operations when not on site, manufacturing timber frames, doors, windows, trusses, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead or support on-site teams in the construction of high-quality timber buildings Work directly alongside the team in a physically active role Assist with workshop tasks when not on site Ensure safe working practices and high standards of craftsmanship Maintain good communication with management and team members

Requirements:

Previous wood manufacturing or construction experience is essential Full

UK driving licence

is

required

due to our rural location and early starts Must be able to

reliably commute to our yard in Bromham

Willingness to travel and stay away from home for site work (accommodation arranged) Some

early starts (as early as 5am)

and

occasional late finishes

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team Leadership experience or potential to grow into a leadership role
